Berryworld was established by Geoff Langford in 2012 and looks to develop a multidisciplinary approach for crop management, development and production. A cultivar selection and propagating portfolio aims to develop plant cultivars to suit New Zealand conditions. Berryworld aims to advise growers and berry industry organisations on the use of pesticides, fertilisers, irrigation and pest and disease management in New Zealand and internationally.
Geoff Langford has 44 years experience as a scientific advisor in the horticultural industry. Geoff's experience in plant breeding, propagating and management sees him as an expert advisor to the berryfruit industry in New Zealand and offshore.
Bronwyn Braithwaite is a scientist in the Berryworld team. Bronwyn has over 30 years experience in horticulture and plant pathology. She has experience with a wide range of crops including ornamentals and berries. Bronwyn has extensive experience in setting up, running and reporting on research trials.
