Berryworld monitors and advises growers on application decisions and timing aspects. Berryworld manages the spray diaries for BCNZ and BBNZ. Industry regulations maintain a standard residue limit for locally commercial and international export products. Meeting the regulations is essential for growers to market and distribute their product while maintaining good quality fruit through crop management.
Spray resistance is becoming a major issue for a variety of crops. We are investigating chemical resistance in a variety of crops as well as alternative chemicals that could be introduced as replacements. Additional methods such as pheromone control and breeding resistance are also being investigated.
