It's one thing to be able to grow berry crops well. It's quite another to be able to create a masterful dish from those berries.


Outside of Geoff's horticultural skills, he's also quite the baker. On this page you'll find the recipe to his signature dish. It's quite well known in certain circles. Try it out yourself! 

Geoff's Signature Dish - Boysenberry Meringue Pie

  • 125g Butter
  • 125g Sugar
  • 250g flour
  • pinch salt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 500g of boysenberries (or chosen fruit)

Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolks.  Add dry ingredients.  Press into 23cm x 6cm high pie dish

Add fruit of choice thickened with cornflour, sweetened to taste

Meringue 2 egg whites, 0.75 cup of sugar, 1tbs boiling water

Cook at 180°C for 20-30 minutes
